What services does Hollins Hall Home Care provide?
Hollins Hall Home Care offers a range of personalised home care services, including personal care, companionship, help with tasks around the house, medication care and many more. We tailor our services to meet our clients’ individual needs and preferences.
How do you recruit and train your carers?
We have a very strict and rigorous recruitment programme that complies with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Disclosed Barring Service (DBS). The reliability and competence of our staff are of great value to us to maintain the high quality of the care we provide. Every single member of staff has been highly trained, and we undertake regular spot-checks and assessments to ensure this high quality is continually upheld.
Which home care service is best for me?
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all service. We offer a variety of personalised home care services designed to meet your specific needs. Our compassionate team will conduct a comprehensive assessment with you to ensure that your care is tailored to meet your requirements. We then build your care plan with you, so you are fully involved with the services you receive.
How often are care plans reviewed and updated?
We regularly review and update care plans to ensure that they remain relevant and meet the evolving needs of our clients. We understand that care requirements can change on a daily basis, so we will work with you and adapt our services accordingly.
I’ve just been discharged from hospital, and I need support in my own home while I recover. I have never received support before, what can I expect?
We understand that the prospect of being cared for by a stranger can be a bit daunting. We ensure that we provide our service in the most compassionate and sensitive manner and that the transition from hospital back to your home is as smooth and comfortable as possible. Our staff are all kind, warm and very friendly and they will help ease you into your care routine, considering your wishes and preferences along the way. Your happiness and wellbeing is our number one priority.
I do not need any physical help in my day-to-day life, but I would like somebody to just visit me once a week to check I’m OK and to provide a bit of company. Is this possible?
We understand that living on your own can be lonely sometimes and many of us crave more social time in our everyday lives. We provide a service called Companionship. Even if you require no physical support, one of our carers can visit you as often as you like. Together you can go on walks, take daytrips, visit your family and friends, or just stay at home and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee together.
What if there’s a service not on your list?
Please contact us and ask us. We are fully trained and have a lot of experience and various skill sets within the team. We cannot list every service we offer; however, we are committed to creating a tailored care plan that meets all your needs and wishes.
How do I arrange a service?
You can either call us on 01423 875333 or complete our online contact form and we will be in touch with you. One of our managers will arrange a convenient time to visit you in your own home to discuss your requirements and the services we can provide. A care plan will be designed with you, where we at all times will listen to your needs and take into consideration everything that is important to you.
Will the carers respect my dignity & privacy?
All of our carers are highly trained to promote your dignity and to respect your privacy, which is fundamental to the care we provide. We will at all times take this into account and listen to all of your needs and wishes as an individual.
How can I give feedback about your service?
Your feedback is essential to improve our services, add to our carer’s personal learning development, and help us to grow as a company. You can either contact our office and speak directly to a manager, complete our online contact form or write to us. We would really like to hear from you.
What do I do if I have any complaints or concerns regarding the service?
We encourage and support a culture of openness and transparency. All comments and complaints are listened to and acted upon. We want to know of any concern, dissatisfaction or worry. Being informed helps us to take steps to rectify the situation and improve our services. You can either contact our office and speak directly to a manager, complete our online contact form or write to us.
